Flying Lotus and Denzel Curry have kept plenty busy this year. Both artists have managed to consistently stay in the news despite their albums coming out in the first half of the year, whether it be because of their stunning music videos or their wide range of collaborative projects.

Today it’s a combination of the two: Lotus and Curry are unveiling a new video for their collaborative track from FlyLo’s record Flamagra, “Black Balloons Reprise,” which is a predictably surreal visual for a Flying Lotus project. The track, which caps off Curry’s “Black Balloons” trilogy initiated on last year’s TA13OO, soundtracks a Jack Begert–directed clip featuring the duo in an unnerving vision of South LA haunted by black balloons and optical illusions, ending in a proper homage to the homie Mac Miller.

“This is such a special project to me because it’s rare to work with an artist like Flying Lotus that truly has no creative boundaries,” Bergert said of the video in a press statement. “The same goes for Denzel. The two of them build such distinctive worlds with their visuals—I had a great time blending them together.”

Watch the video below. Flamagra is out now via Warp Records.
