Guess you can’t keep the consistently problematic Morrissey down. Goldenvoice has just announced the lineup for their brand new Cruel World Festival, a new wave/post-punk throwback extravaganza. It’s coming to Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California on Saturday, May 2, and the headliners are Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie, and Devo.
Other artists set to perform include Echo and the Bunneymen, The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, The Church, Public Image Ltd., Gary Numan, Marc Almond, English Beat, Christian Death, TR/ST, Cold Cave, 45 Grave, Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel, Berlin, Bad Manners, Missing Persons, She Wants Revenge, and Blaqk Audio.
