With rumors swirling about the fate of the 2020 Coachella festival in light of current  coronavirus fears and the recent cancellation of SXSW, event promoter Goldenvoice has made it official: this year’s show is being postponed.

“At the direction of the County of Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns,” reads the official statement shared by Goldenvoice on social media. “While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously.”

As such, Coachella has been moved to the weekends of October 9-11 and 16-18. Stagecoach 2020 will now happen over the weekend of October 23-25. While all tickets for the April dates are good for October, attendees looking for refunds will get details on how to do so on March 14.
