The English pop star will make missing out on senior prom due to COVID-19 suck a little less.

Dua Lipa is here to help take the sting out of not having a senior prom. The pop star is teaming up with LA radio DJ JoJo Wright to co-host the 2020 iHeartRadio Prom across the network’s stations on May 8 starting at 8 p.m. PST.

“Prom is such a significant milestone for high school students across the country,” Wright said about the four-hour event in a press statement. “Through the power of radio, we are excited to bring prom to the to the safety of our listeners living rooms, with some of the biggest names in music performing for the special occasion.”

The show will feature DJ mixes from the likes of Diplo, Marshmello, and Martin Garrix, as well as special messages for the classic of 2020 from such celebs as John Legend and Noah Cyrus. The first slow dance of the night will come courtesy of Lewis Capaldi, who will perform “Before You Go.”

Fans who want to get in on the action can submit photos in their prom night looks using hashtags #iHeartProm and #iHeartDuaLipa for the opportunity to win a virtual meet and greet with Lipa following the event.
