If breaking a Guinness World Record was on your bucket list, now is probably the time to pursue that dream. George Watsky did just that earlier this month, succeeding in nabbing the title for Longest Rap Marathon by freestyling for a record thirty-three hours and thirty-three minutes, breaking Pittsburgh rapper Frzy’s record set at the beginning of the year.

The rapper—who you may know as Watsky—finally received official certification from the folks at Guinness, who now have him listed as the record-holder. In addition to this recognition, Watsky managed to raise a whopping $147,000 for COVID-19 relief, splitting the money between Sweet Relief, the rapper’s crew who were banking on income from Watsky’s planned North American tour, and fans in need of financial support during the pandemic.
