Dick Diver / 2015

Dick Diver (who take their name from a character in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender Is the Night) last released the “New Name Blues” single—a fun little 7” that hinted at bigger things to come for the Australian quartet. Now it sounds like the band is ready to make good on that promise with their third full-length on the way, the slyly-titled Melbourne, Florida.

Along with the first single, “Waste The Alphabet,” “Tearing The Posters Down” (which premiered yesterday at Noisey) finds the group embracing some Cheap Trick and Big Star vibes into their sound, while at the same time still holding down the jangly-goodness that got them started in the first place.

Melbourne, Florida, is out March 10 via Trouble In Mind.
