This morning, Florence + The Machine shared a short video for a track titled “How Big How Blue How Beautiful” on YouTube, the first bit of new music from their highly anticipated forthcoming record. No firm details on when the follow-up to 2011’s Ceremonials is coming, but it’s safe to assume the time is nigh.
The song, accompanied by gorgeous visuals of Florence Welch interacting and embracing with a double on an ancient, overgrown amphitheater, features a few lines of Welch’s distinctive soprano amidst crescendo swells and wind ensemble fanfare—a fitting return.
