At the end of last year, Dan Deacon had just announced the details of his seventh full-length album, Gliss Riffer. Beyond the track listing and insanely illustrated album art, Deacon released Gliss Riffer’s first single and video, “Feel The Lightning.” Today, the electro-pop-rock innovator unleashed his latest track “Learning To Relax”—a thunderous digital journey full of ethereal swells and over-the-top robotic harmonies.

Glitches and drum machine beats pulse throughout the nearly-seven-minute track. While it might be hard to imagine someone actually relaxing while listening to this composition, which Deacon perfected while supporting Arcade Fire on tour last year, they sure will have fun on the ride.

Additionally, Deacon is about to embark on a massive tour in support of Gliss Riffer at the end of the month. Catch him if you can.
