Like a ray of retro sunshine, The Very Best has shared a slice of 8-bit reggae-pop paradise in the video for the track “Let Go.”

The clip, which appropriately premiered by Wired, features video game–style versions of Johan Hugo and Esau Mwamwaya making their way left to right—always left to right—in search of what appears to be a 2-D boss battle dance-off.

Swedish artist Pappas Parlor directed the video, and made each pixel of the characters and landscapes out of little beads.

This video lands ahead of the group’s latest effort, Makes A King, which was recorded in a small village in Milawi, and is out April 7 via Moshi Moshi Records.
