Gatherers have been shaking our speakers for nearly a decade now, most recently serving up a full-length LP of screamo-inspired post-hardcore in 2018. Today the New Jersey collective has resurfaced to announce a new label partnership with the storied No Sleep Records, who are already set to put out a brand new Gatherers single.

“We’re proud to have a new home at No Sleep,” the band’s Rich Weinberger says of joining up-and-coming heavy emo groups like Stay Inside on the label. “Over the years, Chris and the label have championed a beautiful culture around music, community and work ethic (coffee) that was very much needed. To have those things attached to our band is a breath of fresh air.  We’re excited to undertake our fourth album alongside our new family.”

Before we get any more news on an LP4, the band has shared a raging new single called “Ad Nauseam, I Drown,” which the band wrote, produced, tracked, and mixed themselves, with Mike Kalajian on board for mastering. “The song is about the facade of relevance, and where it sits on the spectrum between purposeful art and undignified bullshit,” they explain. “These days it often feels like we’re being smothered in the latter.”
