Now that filming for Twin Peaks season three is finally underway, more and more casting information is getting leaked from the set, despite Kyle MacLachlan remaining the only officially confirmed actor for the new season, reprising his role as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper.

The Independent reports that Peter Sarsgaard (JarheadGarden State), Amanda Seyfried (Les MisérablesMean Girls), and Balthazar Getty (The Judge) have joined the cast of Twin Peaks‘ upcoming season.

Even though we’ve been unfairly teased enough by all the drama between show creator David Lynch and Showtime, it’s still nice to see the first official teaser for the new season…even though there’s nothing really new about it and  the new season is still a long way from airing.

Also, if you want a chance to learn from the master of strange cinema himself, i-D reports that applications for the David Lynch MA in Film are now being accepted for 2016 students. The year-long program takes place in Fairfield, Iowa, where Lynch himself will lecture at the Maharishi University of Management—a school created by the founder of Transcendental Meditation, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

The program will focus on studying film along with the techniques of Transcendental Meditation, which will reportedly be practiced daily. Lynch made a statement about the upcoming program:

This master’s degree in film teaches all the aspects of filmmaking, but with the profound addition of Transcendental Meditation® as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. This gives those in the program the ability to dive within—to transcend and experience that unbounded ocean of pure consciousness which is unbounded intelligence, creativity, happiness, love, energy, power, and peace. The big secret to great filmmaking, I believe, lies within in the big treasury within us all.

There certainly is a treasury within you, Mr. Lynch. The application deadline is November 1st. Find our more here.

Updated: February 2, 11:30 a.m.: It’s been a while since we’ve got any word from the Twin Peaks reboot set—apart from this slightly “newer” teaser released in December—but this morning, Deadline has reported that a few more famous faces will be joining the Showtime revival’s cast. While their roles have not been confirmed, both Naomi Watts and Tom Sizemore are attached to the project. Lynch is also rumored to be reprising his role as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole.
