The only band brave (or niche) enough to bridge the gap between the digital hardcore aesthetic of JPEGMAFIA and the rowdy, stadium-pleasing energy of World Wrestling Entertainment, Code Orange is announcing their latest LP today with the relentless single “Underneath” and an equally vicious video for it. From the forthcoming record of the same name, the single follows an EP, a handful of singles, and the aforementioned collaboration with Injury Reserve and JPEG, all of which the group has released in the three years since 2017’s groundbreaking Forever.

Underneath is about facing the duality in ourselves as individuals and as a society in an overcrowded, overexposed, all-consuming digital nirvana,” drummer/vocalist Jami Morgan shared in a press statement. “Everyone has a voice and no one’s seems to matter…plummet down the rabbit hole of your deepest fears, anxieties and regrets to confront the monster that has been building underneath.”
