As Bon Iver continue to tour their experimental 2019 opus i,i, the cozy Minnesotan rockers are unveiling a belated tenth anniversary reissue of their 2009 EP Blood Bank, which celebrated its birthday yesterday. The EP notably followed Justin Vernon’s groundbreaking debut LP For Emma, Forever Ago, and, at just four songs, it’s some of the group’s strongest work.

“In honor of the tenth anniversary of ‘Blood Bank’, we’re releasing a limited edition reissue on LP and CD on March 27, 2020 via @jagjaguwar!” the band shared on Instagram. “Released 11 years ago yesterday (we know), you can preorder now and listen to the live version of the track “Blood Bank”, recorded live in Sweden in 2018… The reissue will feature new artwork by @erictimothycarlson, both original and brand new live renditions of each track, and an in-depth essay written by longtime Bon Iver friend @muzzleofbees.”

The reissue arrives March 27 on Jagjaguwar, and will feature one live recording of each track, recorded in Stockholm, Dallas, London, and Paris. You can pre-order it here—you can also preview a live recording of the title track, recorded in Stockholm in 2018, below, and read on for the band’s extended international tour schedule.
