Last year, Kali Uchis hopped on a remix of Amaarae and Moliy's hit "SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY." Today, the immediate classic continues its run with an official music video equally as moody, edgy, and fierce as the track itself. The visual takes us into an ominous world similar to that of The Matrix or Blade Runner, with Amaarae and Uchis greeting us as projections upon the side of a skyscraper. Inside the building, there's bottle service in the elevator and papers flying around an office floor while business gets done alongside to-go glasses of wine.
The extravagance continues with the artists modeling high-fashion wardrobes courtesy of Mugler, Vivienne Westwood, YSL, Versace, and Louboutin with the assistance of Lagos-based stylist Daniel Obasi. As the song clearly states, these women like to party and like to get paid, and they're not hiding their indulgence in those luxuries from anyone.
