Caroline Polachek owned 2021 with her single "Bunny Is a Rider." Today she's returned with the follow-up "Billions," which was co-produced with Danny L Harle and features London’s Trinity Choir. The iridescent pop gem, akin to Imogen Heap, finds Polachek in a more serene lane than the one she occupied on her previous release.

“The overabundance of this world overwhelms me," Polachek said in regard to the song. "Sometimes it seems like ultimate tragedy, the earth being pillaged and destroyed for it. Sometimes it seems pre-human, beyond morality, sublime. I don’t pick sides, I just live here, with you. How does it feel, being so rich?”

The single also comes with a video co-directed by Polachek and Matt Copson. In the visual, Polachek smashes grapes with her feet, takes a bath, inspects whimsical drinking glasses, and reads to children. As expected, it's a wild and surreal ride.
