Spanish pop star Rosalía is readying her new album Motomami, which is the follow-up to the acclaimed 2018 release El Mal Querer. She shared her collaboration with The Weeknd titled "La Fama" last November and the incredibly fun "Saoka" earlier this month. Today, she's returned with another playful track called "Chicken Teriyaki." The single was co-produced with El Guincho, Sky Rompiendo, Micheal Uzowuru, and Noah Goldstein, and, somewhat randomly, features rapper Q-Tip—I believe you can hear his voice repeat the chorus midway through.

"Chicken Teriyaki" also comes with a video directed by Tanu Muino. It features Rosalía surrounded by a troop of dancers, strutting their freaking stuff and having a playful time in thick Nike socks and platform heels. At one point a motorcyclist crashes through the window with takeout boxes strapped to his back. Everyone keeps on dancing. It's moments like this, along with FaceTime spoofs and glowing neon pink tights, that remind us that Rosalía doesn't only make hits, but she's got a refreshingly fun original vision.
