Chill guy Chaz Bear has a new Toro y Moi album coming out on April 29 titled MAHAL. Today, another single dropped called "Déjà Vu" with a video directed by Justin Morris. The song is some slippery psychedelic rock, while the visual is an appropriately surreal rabbit hole. "I hope you enjoy this small slice of American pie that I have prepared for you," Bear shared in regard to the release.

"Déjà Vu" begins as a plush, bubbling track. A laidback bass roams freely as electric guitars zigzag backwards. Bear's vocals are warm and comforting even when the chorus hints at melancholy: "Déjà vu in a town like this / Only simply makes me miss / Everything all about you / Everything that we would do." The video finds Bear tied up in rope, rocking a nun's habit, showing off muscle while chopping some wood, hanging in the back of a limo with some chickens, and partying like a motherfuckin' rockstar in a hotel with cupcakes in the bathtub. Yup, that feels right.
