Wild Pink hasn't stopped since the release of their 2021 album A Billion Little Lights. After collaborating with San Fermin in November for a comp which that group put together, another single came out in December called "Florida," which pulsed with wispy bursts and sprawling brass cries. Today, the NYC-based group has shared another single called "Q. Degraw," featuring an expansive rush of heady guitar distortion and motoric percussion.

Guitar riffs spin out like unraveling smoke tendrils as bandleader John Ross's angelic vocals divulge pained experiences. "I've been to hell and back again," he sings in a hushed closeness that recalls Perfume Genius' Michael Hadreas. “This song is about my experiences with some health problems and how an extremely stressful situation can sharpen your focus on what's important in life," Ross shared. "It's also about how that stress can sometimes cause you to dissociate from yourself.”
