Singer-songwriter Tomberlin is releasing her latest project i don't know who needs to hear this... at the end of the month. It's the follow-up to 2020's EP Projections and her first full-length since 2018's At Weddings. We've already gotten a glimpse at what seems to be a gorgeous, thoughtful LP with the singles "tap," "happy accident," and "idkwntht." Today's offering is "sunstruck," which arrives with a Ryan Schnackenberg–directed video. Sarah Beth Tomberlin revealed to Rolling Stone that this single is "the highlight of the record," adding it "is a rumination of feelings; a collection of songs steeped in inquisitive folk and dense instrumentation."

“This is an aerial view love song that is also not a love song. It is more a love song to forced distance, time alone with yourself, letting go, searching for yourself and the healing that takes place when you make those things an active focus in your life,” she continued. “These things are choices, they don’t just happen on their own. You can choose to practice them or you can choose stagnancy. This is a love song to the growth that often can take place if you choose to tend to your own life’s garden.”

Watch the video for "sunstruck" below, and pre-order the record—out April 29 via Saddle Creek—here.
