Billie Eilish has aways had a thoughtful approach to incorporating environmentally sustainable and ethical practices to her lifestyle as one of the biggest popstars in the world. She's a vegan who convinced Oscar De La Renta to stop selling fur in exchange for modeling the designer's clothes at last year's Met Gala. This year, she continued her environmentally minded approach at the event by wearing a Gucci dress made from upcycled materials last night. Now she's bringing environmental action on tour with her.
Today, she's announced Overhearted, an event that combines music and education on climate change. "There will be sessions on green practices in the music industry, the benefits of a plant-based diet, the methods of sustainable fashion, and the actions taken to mitigate climate change," reads the website.
Overheated will take place at The O2 in London with a live event on June 10 and a Music Climate Session on June 16, which will feature performances by Sigrid and Love Ssega. The event will also air a documentary called Overheated that features Eilish, Dame Vivienne Westwood, FINNEAS, girl in red, Yungblud, and more.
