There's a new music fest in town—specifically San Francisco—and it's called Portola Music Festival. Taking place on September 24 and 25 at the city's Pier 80, it's unclear at the moment who the headliners are (although I would assume Flume and The Chemical Brothers, since they're in a slightly bigger font above all the others). But all artists are created equal, and most of this stellar lineup is headliner-worthy anyway, if not for the fact that some are artists on the rise.
Other notable acts include Jamie xx, Kaytranada, James Blake, M.I.A., Toro y Moi, Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, The Avalanches, Arca, Omar Apollo, Yaeji, Fatboy Slim, Channel Tres, Four Tet & Floating Points, DJ Shadow, Kelly Lee Owens, Shy Girl, and The Range.
