Tame Impala

With both the monumental sophomore LP from psych-rock torchbearers Tame Impala and the psych-rock-friendly West Coast music fest Desert Daze celebrating 10 years this summer, it’s only natural that Kevin Parker’s band will be headlining the Lake Perris, California event. Desert Daze announced its 2022 lineup this morning with that band set to headline—vowing to perform Lonerism in full—alongside fellow Aussie psych lords King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard as well as Iggy Pop, who will be playing his only US show scheduled for this year.

Set to take place the weekend of September 30, additional draws include Chicano Batman, The Marías, Sky Ferreira, Perfume Genius, Reggie Watts, Aldous Harding,  The Armed, Viagra Boys, Shannon and the Clams, Black Country, New Road, Duster, Nilüfer Yanya, Show Me the Body, Daniel Rossen, Surfbort, Automatic, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, The Paranoyds, clipping., Telefon Tel Aviv, and Nosaj Thing. Check out the full lineup below, and find ticketing info here.
