The other day, Netflix's Stranger Things shattered the record for being the most watched English-language show on the platform. The sci-fi horror series has also been in the news for giving new life to Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill," making younger generations aware of her genius. Now, Bush isn't the only musician you should be paying attention to from the show. Stranger Things actor Joe Keery, former member of Chicago psych-rock group Post Animal, announced a new album for his solo project Djo. DECIDE is out September 16, and the release is preceded by a fresh single.

"Change" is buzzy electro-pop track illuminated by fluorescent synths and a collage of swiveling melodies. "In a conversation / But my mind is out the back door / Watching this unfold like I am floating right above it," goes the opening line. By track's end, Keery has evolved, inspired by the potential envisioned by another. "I thought that change was bad / But you have changed my mind," he asserts simply. He's not so aloof now, ready to transform.
