Since coming up in Philadelphia’s hardcore and alt-comedy scenes in the early 2000s, Tim Heidecker has spent the past two decades shaping his personality as a songwriter and a standup comedian, with both of those distinct identities currently on display as he tours North America for a series of evenings of “Standup, music & applause.” In the midst of that tour, and on the heels of his new album High School, Heidecker found the time to record an episode for FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” series, which will be airing all week. Following episodes with Soccer Mommy, Girl Talk, Spoon’s Britt Daniel, Snail Mail, and others, he’ll be taking over the airwaves every day from July 18 through 22 supplying hand-picked songs and recollections of his dual careers in music and comedy from over the years.

Airing every day of the week at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PST, tune into FLOOD FM here to hear what she’s spinning. You can also revisit our recent feature with Heidecker where he discusses his 2020 LP Fear of Death and his time in Philly’s punk scene here.
