Today, Billie Eilish returned with two new singles "TV" and "The 30th." Together they comprise a release titled Guitar Songs and are built off of—unsurprisingly—mostly acoustic guitars. The former was performed live for a televised performance in the UK last month and the latter is brand new.

"TV," which is strikingly similar to Clairo's "Blouse," discusses the internet's obsession with Roe v. Wade and Heard v. Depp, and how falling in love can create distance with friendships. "The 30th" talks about a hospital visit; Eilish sings about an injured loved one who doesn't remember the ambulance ride or calling for help. During a suspenseful bridge, Eilish imagines what could have happened if circumstances were different: "If you'd changed anything, would you not have survived? / You're alive / You're Alive," she sings as the acoustic guitar begins to speed up.

FINNEAS and I really wanted these to be yours as soon as possible," Eilish said in a statement. "Performing 'TV' on tour was such a highlight for us too, so we took the audio from the first night we played it in Manchester and put it in the song. I get shivers every time I hear it.”
