Still a relatively new artist, ethereal R&B songstress FKA Twigs has already developed a reputation for her trippy, cinematic, wildly choreographic music videos, and her latest effort does nothing to hinder it. On Monday, she released the song and video “Glass & Patron,” her first new material since her 2014 debut LP1.
The video—which features, among other things, a pregnant Twigs and a misfit fashion show in a bleak, spooky forest—was directed and choreographed by Twigs herself as part of the 2015 YouTube Music Video Awards. “Glass & Patron” is the first single of an upcoming EP due out this year.
FKA Twigs has also announced a string a live dates, which includes stops at Coachella, The Belasco Theater in LA, and two showings of her widely acclaimed Congregata live show at the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in Brooklyn. See the full detailed list below.
