After scooping up a Grand Jury prize at this year’s Sundance film festival, western thriller Slow West has shared a trailer for the film’s wide-release this spring.
From writer-director John Maclean, Slow West follows a young Scottish man (Kodi Smit-McPhee) who travels to the American West in search of his lost love (Caren Pistorius), guided by the mysterious rogue Silas Selleck (Michael Fassbender).
The short trailer packs a lot in—mixing dark humor and fantasy elements together through gritty western lens.
Slow West will be out exclusively on DirecTV April 16, and in theaters May 15.
