Since 2005, Perry Farrell has kept his Lollapalooza extravaganza at Grant Park locked down as the summer’s most anticipated, and reliable, music festival. Like clockwork, Lolla is taking over Chicago once again from July 31 through August 2, and following Outside Lands’ lineup announcement yesterday, Lollapalooza’s artist roster has now been unveiled in full.
Paul McCartney, Metallica, and Florence + The Machine will headline, with a seemingly endless list of big names below that, including Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Flying Lotus, Hot Chip, and Death From Above 1979.
Three-day and single-day tickets are already sold out (of course), but “platinum” weekend passes are still available (they ain’t cheap, but you do get access to a golf cart, so there’s that).
