We're less than a month away from the first Primavera Sound festival in LA with Arctic Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails, Lorde, Mitski, Fontaines D.C., Stereolab, Khruangbin, Amyl and the Sniffers, and many more set to perform. Over the next few weeks leading up to the festival (taking place the weekend of September 16 at LA Historic Park), several of our favorite artists on the lineup will be taking over the FLOOD FM airwaves for a special series of "Hacked" episodes presented by Primavera Sound LA.

First up, LA's own garage-punk four-piece Surf Curse will be telling stories and spinning hand-picked tunes (expect the unexpected!) all week long in anticipation of both their Primavera set and their major-label debut for Atlantic Records due in the fall. Recently expanded to a quartet, Jacob Rubeck and Nick Rattigan's longstanding project will share a bit about the music that's influenced them over the years after we caught up with them in 2019 to discuss cinematic influences.

Airing every day of the week at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PST, tune into FLOOD FM here to hear what they’re spinning, and check back for more special guests all month long.
