Toronto musician MorMor has slowly been releasing singles since the 2019 EP Some Place Else. Now, things seem to be speeding up a bit. Last month, he shared his first single in two years called "Far Apart," which he shared was "about the toxicity that occurs in a relationship when both people haven’t yet faced their demons." A little over a month later, he's shared another single called "Seasons Change."

"Seasons Change" is a bright, melancholic indie-pop song. "As the river flows on constantly / Time will never wait as seasons change," MorMor sings amidst blissful handclaps and reverby surf rock licks. "You know better than to waste time," he warns before the chorus. It's the perfect bittersweet reminder as the summer comes to a close.

"[It's] a song about the constraints of time. The sentiment is that if you are to live once, why not give into your natural desires?" Mormor revealed. The accompanying visual directed by Camille Summers features ominous clouds of dark hues overlapping with clips of children playing.
