Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Derek Ted has returned with a follow-up to his 2019 full-length, Better Spirit. The new record, Times Have Changed, arrives on November 3rd and is preceded by the single “w the roses,” a solemn, acoustic ballad that highlights Ted’s passionate, intrepid vocals and his command of gorgeous, wayfaring instrumentals. The song also comes with a music video shot by Alex McDonell and Kai Cranmore, featuring a bloodied and bandaged Ted serenading the camera in an open meadow.

Ted is also hitting the road this fall, playing gigs in Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, and Los Angeles with frequent collaborator Field Medic. Watch the music video for “w the roses” below and pre-order Times Have Changed here.
