On October 28, electro-pop duo Milk & Bone will release their third studio album Chrysalism, a collection of shimmering tracks documenting Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin’s evolution through both personal relationships and songwriting. With four singles from the project already available to stream, the record is shaping up to be a mature look at love and loss told through the glossy, upbeat pop experiments the pair have been honing since their debut Little Mourning in 2015.
In the meantime, the duo stripped things down considerably for a recent “Neighborhoods” session in the Montreal neighborhood of Little Italy, where they performed one of their recent singles “Movies” with just a ukulele and vocal harmonies. Check it out below, and pre-order the new album here.
