It’s been a little over a year since Petey unveiled his breakthrough sophomore album Lean Into Life, yet the LA-based songwriter has still managed to keep busy this year. After gracing the FLOODfest SXSW stage back in March, he unleashed the one-off single “Big Bad!” in anticipation of his appearance at Lollapalooza over the summer. In November he’s set to head back out on the road for a month-long sojourn across North America wrapping up on December 12 back home in LA at The Fonda.

But before he hits the road, Petey will be hosting FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” with the new episode airing every day from October 17 through 21 with handpicked tunes and tales from his music career, spinning tracks new and old ranging from up-and-coming names like Young Jesus, oso oso, and PHONY (whose recent album At Some Point You Stop he appears on), to alt-rock stalwarts including Coheed and Cambria and New Found Glory. The episode will air here Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. PDT.
