Nick Hakim is releasing his third album Cometa this Friday, October 21. So far, it's shaping up to be a transcendent listen as proven by the singles "Happen," "M1," and "Vertigo," tracks which have been preoccupied with stretching time, or documenting a romance unfolding like a run-in with an angel. Today, his newest release "Feeling Myself" is a strutting ode to self-confidence.
“I've never really written anything that's like that in terms of the personas," Hakim said. "Where I'm coming from is always conversational like I'm talking to someone… I’m being nice to myself and the energy boosting around is confidence and loving yourself in a way that you haven't really felt in a long time.”
