23-year-old musician Léa Sen released a wildly underrated debut EP You of Now Pt. 1 this past May, which arrived ahead of a European tour with Nilüfer Yanya. She returned today with a remix of "I Feel Like I'm Blue" by electronic musician and Frank Ocean collaborator Vegyn. The slow-building ballad buoyed by Sen's honeyed vocals becomes a cosmic series of revelations stripped bare. Her vocals are pitched up, sounding like the thin cries of an incoming message from a UFO. Later, tinny vibrations and spectral synths elevate the track to new heights as Sen briefly touches down on Earth to deliver her newly rendered universal message: "I feel like I'm blue / No more than you do."

“The rework came very organically, there was never an intention to put it out," she shared. "[Vegyn] and I were just sharing stems because we were excited about each other’s work, and that was like two years ago. It’s a bit terrifying to share it with people now, but why leave it in our hard drives forever?”
