After kicking off 2022 by releasing their fifth studio album, The Wombats announced back in August that they’d be closing out the year with even more new music. Following January’s timely, post-punk-y Fix Yourself, Not the World, the UK trio will be unveiling a six-song EP of recordings from those same sessions on November 18 under the title Is This What It Feels Like to Feel Like This?, previewed with the ecstatic title track

Leading up to that release, Matthew Murphy, Dan Haggis, and Tord Øverland Knudsen will be taking over FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” series with their own guest DJ segments to hype the new release, with the three members’ individual playlists including a slew of their favorite songs by indie peers like alt-J, Nation of Language, and Alvvays, as well as modern classics by the likes of Gorillaz, Beck, and MBV. Kicking off next Monday, November 14, and running through Friday, November 18, catch the episode every day at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5.p.m., and 10 p.m. PT on FLOOD FM here.
