It’s been nearly four years since Amy Winehouse‘s tragic death, but her incredible voice and tumultuous life have only encouraged the British singer-songwriter’s legend and legacy to continue to grow. While her absence within today’s music industry is still felt—especially when other singers try to replicate her timeless sound—an upcoming documentary is set to shed more light on Winehouse’s beautiful and troubled life.

The film, simply titled Amy, will use never-before-seen footage and unreleased new music to tell Winehouse’s story. This project also brings Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees, the BAFTA award–winning team behind Senna—the fantastic documentary about Formula One racer Ayrton Senna—together again for a similarly tragic saga.

In the teaser trailer, you can hear Winehouse respond to a question about her impending fame with the simple, yet heartbreaking response, “I don’t think I could handle it, I would probably go mad.”

Amy will be out in the UK and Ireland on July 3. There is no set release date for the US at this time.
