Since Mr. Show with Bob and David went off the air at the end of 1998, there was a pretty large Bob Odenkirk and David Crosssized hole in the hearts of all comedy lovers. While both members have been quite successful doing their own thing—Cross as Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development and Odenkirk as Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul—when the two come together, it’s absolute gold.

Thankfully, the brilliant minds at Netflix decided that they needed more comedic gold in their pockets and greenlit a brand-new sketch series from the duo aptly called With Bob and David. Within the streaming service’s official statement about the limited-run series, they explained the underlying plot of the show: “After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy Seals, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best, making sketch comedy.” Well, that makes perfect sense.

No release date has been set for With Bob and David yet, but Netflix divulged that there will be four half-hour episodes of the program along with one hour-long “making-of” special. Here’s to three more full-hours of the patented Odenkirk-Cross chemistry!
