SZA

Last month, SZA proved (to no one's surprise) that her sophomore album SOS was worth the wait. The follow-up to 2017's Ctrl has now spent a month at the top of the charts (the only other album from a female R&B artist to do this was Janet Jackson with 1983's Janet). SOS, an album that dives deep into every complex shade of anger, desire, and vulnerability, is the gift that keeps on giving. Last night, SZA shared the bloody visual for the immediate album highlight "Kill Bill."

"I might kill my ex / Not the best idea," she cheekily contemplates during the chorus. Again, to no one's surprise, in the Christian Breslauer–directed visual she mercilessly rips the heart out of her ex-lover. The visual nods to the Quentin Tarantino film which the song takes its name from—there's latex, sword fighting, revenge, and lots of blood. At the video's end, SZA also gives us a sensual partial visual for the following track on the album, "Seek & Destroy."
