Lætitia Tamko, who releases music as Vagabon, hasn't shared much new material since her 2019 eponymous sophomore album. But that all changes today, as this morning Tamko shared a new single "Carpenter" that was co-produced with Rostam. It's a breezy ode to addressing one's pitfalls in spite of desiring growth—knowledge and wisdom will come with time.

Tamko sings with the brightness and relief of someone breaking through to new revelations, encouraging others that the uphill battles will be worth the views. “‘Carpenter’ is about that humbling feeling when you desperately want to be knowledgeable, you want to be advanced, you want to be mature, forward-thinking, and evolved,” Tamko said. “It’s about being confronted with your limitations. It’s about that a-ha moment, when a lesson from the past finally clicks and you want to run and tell someone who bore witness to the old you, ‘I finally get it now.’”

Listen to "Carpenter" below.
