LISTEN: Dave Harrington and Nicolas Jaar Announce An End To Darkside “For Now,” Offer Final Shows and Two B-Sides

"Gone Too Soon," indeed.

Multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington and electronic musician Nicolas Jaar have announced an end to their collaboration project Darkside, posting on Facebook:

DARKSIDE is coming to an end, for now. On September 12th, we will be playing our last show at Brooklyn Masonic Temple. Here are two songs that we made while working on Psychic that didn’t make the album. Thanks for listening and supporting us this year.

Those two A-side worthy B-sides, “Gone Too Soon” and “What They Say,” can be heard at Jaar’s Other People Records YouTube channel. Their first and only full-length, Psychic, was released last year.

The duo’s final shows will be a bevvy of international  festivals in August and September and a finale in Brooklyn on the 12th:
