Today, South London–based collective Speakers Corner Quartet dropped a new single called "Can We Do This?" that features Sampha. The jazz/hip-hop collective have worked with everyone from Tirzah and Mica Levi to Laraaji and Joey Bada$$; their new single with Sampha showcases why they've become such an in-demand group to work with. Breezy vocal coos, easygoing bass, and resolute, controlled percussive taps steady the track while Sampha details mending a complex relationship.
"Can We Do This?" comes with a joyful video by Akinola Davis Jr. where pedestrians delight in an inflatable bouncy castle. They watch in awe as it grows skyward before the perspective shifts so that the camera is right under their feet, the viewer now faced with their beaming smiles.
