Who Is She? is the name of the new band comprised of Tacocat's Bree McKenna, Chastity Belt's Julia Shapiro, and Lisa Prank's Robin Edwards. Today, they've released their new single "My My Orca Card," which is a modern take on Le Tigre's "My My Metrocard." Instead of shitting on Giuliani, though, Who Is She? takes a jab at Jeff Bezos on their version, who, among other things, "shut down all the book stores," the band notes in the song. I mean, true! Fuck that guy. "Billionaires do not work," the trio later add in the same verse. Also true!
Anyway, this ode to Seattle previously got them disinvited from Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena—dubbed such after Amazon bought the arena's naming rights in 2019—as the house band for the city's NHL team, the Kraken. The arena maintains that such a line was not the reasoning for the group's revoked status as house band. Whatever the case, this incredible turn of events has made Who Is She? destined for the history books.
"We love Le Tigre and public transit and wanted to make this song about Seattle, so we added some of our favorite Seattle bus lines and sprinkled in a local billionaire villain," the band explained of the song in a press statement. "It was also tied into a local sports scandal so it’s now technically a jock jam."

In an unfortunate turn of events, apparently we are not welcome back at Jeff Bezos’ Climate Pledge Arena for tonight and tomorrow’s hockey games. Glad we got to play our take on this @letigreworld song, we had a blast. Sorry to anyone who was hoping to see us play. Go Kraken! pic.twitter.com/AfX4tfwvm3
