Today, LA's Militarie Gun shared a new single called "Do It Faster," their first new music since last fall's deluxe reissue of their first two EPs All Roads Lead to the Gun. The track comes with a video directed by vocalist Ian Shelton and edited by band member Will Acuña.
"Do It Faster" is a call to action. What are you waiting around for? Who's wasting your time? Before you know it, you sit down on the couch, blink, and the day is gone. Stop scrolling, stop waiting for your life to take off and go fucking live it. At least, this is the sense of urgency I get from Shelton gravely shouts and Vince Nguyen's relentless drumming.
"It is about my overall impatience with life," Shelton said about the song. "The agonizing wait for things to materialize…so before resigning to do it myself, I’m imploring the world to just move faster.”
