This weekend, Phoenix’s M3F Festival will be kicking off with two days of shows headlined by Jamie xx and Maggie Rogers. Nearing its 20-year anniversary, the fest has gravitated toward highlighting electronic music and its various subgenres, making Germany’s Purple Disco Machine a logical inclusion in their 2023 lineup.
Before taking the stage on Saturday, though, the nu-disco producer will be taking over FLOOD FM all week for a new episode of “Hacked,” with a slate of party anthems spanning old- and new-school disco and synthpop lined up. Prince, Metronomy, Daft Punk, Alan Braxe, and more will be featured on PDM’s setlist, running every day this week at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. only on FLOOD FM. Tune in here.
