After the magnificent first season of True Detective last year, the second chapter of Nic Pizzolatto’s crime gothic series has a lot to live up to. We’re just given some tense scenes and some really good looks at the cast in this first teaser trailer, but damn if those goosebumps don’t stir right at the end.
This season will take place in Los Angeles, plot unknown, but there are cops (Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, Rachel McAdams) and a crime boss (Vince Vaughn), and the first pair of episodes are helmed by Fast and Furious directed Justin Lin. Back into Carcossa we go.
