Last month, Caroline Polachek shared her anticipated album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, which followed up 2019's Pang. Today, she's shared a live performance video for album highlight "Smoke." Beams of vibrant, warm light radiate around the singer as she moves gallantly on stage. "Inspired by how it feels playing this song live," she captioned the video posted to Instagram. The clip was directed by Matt Copson.

“You are melting everything about me / Oh don't worry bout me / It's just smoke / And the fallout doesn't phase me," she sings. Her band (Maya Laner, Matthew Horton, and Russell Holzman) plays furiously behind her while a volcano stands tall in the background with neon red lights acting as an organic lava flow.
