Yesterday, The Voidz announced a residency at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall on June 15-17. Well, "announced" puts it mildly. "Potentially could align the dormant beast forces of the Awakened 5th Eye from the bottom of the universe silt, and usher in a new era of extreme cosmic (emotional) heat. potentially," they shared in an Instagram post that's anything but straightforward. "Maybe going to be one of the most epic events in galactic history," the band also clarified on the same post, which was then corrected in a follow up post, featuring nearly the same show flyer, to "*2nd most epic event, lest we not forget that residency on Zargon 12."
The strange post captions didn't stop there. "(not to be confused with “Residency on Zargon 12” jazzCrime-fighting movie from the 60s, where they visit the land of saxophones and have to blow their way to freedom," read a third post (featuring the original flyer) with no closing parentheses. It seems like the band, or whoever runs their social account, is too stoked to pay attention to any Earthly grammatical laws.
