Last year, Beach House had a mega release with the 18-track double LP Once Twice Melody. The album was shared in four chapters with lyrical animations for every song. That's a lot of Beach House! But the group has more for us from those sessions: after announcing their special Record Store Day–exclusive Become EP, today they shared that those five new songs are getting a digital release tomorrow and another vinyl release for the wider public on May 19.
“We didn’t think [the songs] fit in the world of OTM, but later realized they all fit in a little world of their own," the duo shared. "To us, they are all kind of scuzzy and spacious, and live in the spirit realm. It’s not really where we are currently going, but it’s definitely somewhere we have been."
