Today BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!—which itself is celebrating its 45th year in its return to Prospect Park—announced its summer lineup, which was curated this year by Taja Cheek, who creates stunning and bewildering music as L'Rain. This year's roster includes Kelela, Indigo De Souza, John Cale, Corinne Bailey Rae, Taj Mahal, The Head and the Heart, The Wallflowers, Liv.e, Marcia Griffiths, and many more. The series will take place between June 7 and August 24.

“I have been going to BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! my whole life and having an opportunity to be a part of the team is nothing short of a dream come true,” L’Rain said in a statement. “Collaborative curatorial work is so special—more important than any individual contribution are the conversations we have with each other about artists we’re excited about, the ways we push each other out of our comfort zones, and the new music we learn about along the way.”
